Panavid Inc., a national audio/video/lighting production company based in Pompton Plains, N.J., has added several QL and CL series Yamaha digital mixing consoles and Rio I/O devices to their production inventory.
According to Panavid’s Rob Loehr, “We evaluated the market very carefully before we made our decision, but in the end, the Yamaha route was our best choice from every point of view. They are just great consoles to use and own. There is a huge amount packed into a remarkably small footprint. The sonic quality of the console is awesome, and Panavid’s custom-designed fiber-optic networking between system elements gives us the flexibility to integrate numerous Dante devices seamlessly over great distances.
Adding these consoles to the production toolbox is allowing Panavid to become even more versatile in the production space, and they are universally accepted by engineers world-wide.
